The transformation of the South Bronx includes an important initiative to create more access to water. This small park on the Bronx River amid the Hunts Point Market buildings, was designed by Mathews Nielsen and includes a fishing station and kayak launch. Russell Design prepared interpretive signage and also enlivened a recycled shipping container where kayaks are stored with graphics designed by us but applied by a local team of graffiti artists under our direction.
